Fireworks

My apologies for not posting in a while. We have been working our annual fireworks sale. Right now it is 50 degrees with 25mph winds. The sides of the tent are flapping, and we are shivering. A guy just came in and bought a $5 box of sparklers. Our Christmas is saved.

Seriously. It’s not all that bad. We get to camp out together (On the Wal-Mart parking lot) in a HUGE tent. We get to hang out with great folks…

And a good dog…

And a smiley girl whose picture I post just so her brother can see she’s wearing his hoodie…

I’ll post more on the comedy of fireworks if I feel like it.

I’m cold.

Not to brag but last year I endured far worse conditions in my security nights. sub-freezing temps and rain. Nothing makes a man feel good like those.

But Kranny, you weren't in Duluth last year. There's at least five to six people that can say it was waaaayyyyyy worse there. So don't even complain. These five to six people, including me, couldn't go home right after their shift was done. They had to endure the rain and cold (much more rain, and much more cold then hibbing) for days at a time. We couldn't feel our fingers by the end. I thought I was going to have to get my fingers get cut off. Cold nights, cold days, it was way worse then Hibbing. So, we have a right to complain. We're still cold from last year.

tootles! :)

Today seems like "average" weather for a fireworks tent! I'm so glad you had a few nice days to at least unload the truck and stuff. That kinda gets you in the mood.
Merry Christmas

Ah, the memories. I truely wish I was there to help. The weather is about the same here. You all look great see you in 10 days.

P.S. That dog is so spoiled. Just look at the smug glint in its eye.

It has to be better than Duluth. I remember visiting you guys there and laughing at you all the way to the Olive Garden. Suckers!

I digress. Perhaps Duluth was bad but I was just sayign Hibbing was pretty bad. I didn't have the right stuff for those temps. But good luck on this tent.

We can't decide what we dislike more...insufferable heat, or unbearable cold. Oh, there's nothing better than a five dollar sale that you stayed open an extra fifteen minutes for...

Oh, the fireworks tent! I only stopped by a couple of times, but I'm glad it's over! Finally, I'll get Jenni back! That silly tent stole her.

I can only look forward to comical stories of Wisconsin Dells and family reunions. Seriously Al, we need the side-splitting, comic relief only your blog can provide.
