Final Hawaii Post? For Now...

Some random thoughts, and pics that we didn't use yet...
(Or were mixed in with a bunch of Facebook posts, and are requesting their own attention, here.)

"Through Early Morning Fog I See..."  This one didn't get any comments on FB, which saddened the Colonel and the Blond.  Because of the clothing I was wearing, we had to do a bit of a mash-up between two characters to frame and present the shot just right. 20 extra Band-Blog points to the first commenter to give us the next line from the song, and why.

The guy on the right seems to know that she doesn't stand a chance of sinking that carrier.
Neither does he.  Get off the boat, Moron.

People were wearing their sunglasses, just to walk past my legs.

Restaurant Menu on an iPad.  Nerdvana.

The Blond made a couple new friends at the Luau.  They all tried to convince me that they were saying "Aloha," but I was pretty sure they were just teaching her gang signs.

There was Banana Bread EVERYWHERE.  (What we're they thinking?)

She was so much better at it that I was.
A friend asked if we found Nemo.  Sadly, no.  But we did get to meet Crush.
While the Blond seemed to get the hang of Snuba/Snorkeling right away, the Colonel found his talents leaned more toward...drowning.
"Maybe you'd be more comfortable just staying on the boat," the instructor said.

We literally spent all our money here.  The Colonel is not making this up.  They had an incentive where for every $100 in receipts collected, you got a prize. "Oh, come on," we laughed.  "We're only here for a few days.  How would that work?"
We ended up with a nice Hello Kitty Hawaii Bag...AND a Mug.

We all live in one of these.

*sighs*

We were a little melancholy, watching our last sunset, but then they brought us more food.
It was also our professional obligation, and our responsibility as Minnesotans, to find us some Spam.

A Coconut, a Blond, and a Mustang.  Bucket list: Accomplished.

Middle Earth.  Very Middle Earth.

The Leis from the Luau were fading fast.  It was time to go.  We left them at Black Sand Beach.

The Blond wasn't very happy about leaving.
The Colonel, of course, took it much, much better.

Thanks, for reading, everybody.  For those who are interested, the whole, redundant album, can be found on Facebook.

And remember those Band-Blog points.  Solve the mystery of Picture #1 at the top of this post.  (I'm looking at you, Brookie.)
