Always Believe

In spite of the title and URL of this blog, it is not devoted to Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man, or to Robert Preston, or anything else, for that matter.

The simple story behind the title is that my eldest son, who introduced me to the blogging world, chose a
cool title for his blog, from an obscure literary reference he really liked.

Since I also aspire to be
cool someday, I decided to shamelessly rip-off his general concept by using an obscure reference of my own choosing, while simultaneously stealing and re-designing a blog template that a good friend designed for another site.

Am I
lazy?
Probably.

Will I try to be more
original as this blog continues?
Not likely.

Will I continue to commandeer ideas from those
more intelligent and funny than I, while passing them off as my own?
Most assuredly.

Am I asking a series of rhetorical questions, just so I can publish my first post in order to be able to see and edit this blog's template?
Obviously.

Have I fallen into common error, using far too many links in my first post to cover up a
deplorable lack of writing talent?
Duh...

I linked to you now. Are you happy?
I would have linked sooner but I didn't think anything was going to become of this blog.
Anyways, yeah...

I liked that I was referenced as Intelligent and Funny. There is a first time for everything. Keep the complements coming Mr. Havoc and I will be sure to spend endless office hours working out the kinks in your blog.

Hah!

That reference to Born Loser is priceless, like a big diamond made out of gold. Hmm, I like things that fly.
